Reserve Your Pig Today!
We are now accepting a $200 non-refundable deposit to reserve your whole heritage pig or $100 non-refundable deposit for half pigs. The deposit will be deducted from your final bill which is to be paid by the harvest date.
A mobile butcher will harvest our pigs on-farm in November (before Thanksgiving) and transport them to a local butcher shop for cut and wrap services. We will work with you and the butcher to make sure the process goes smoothly and that you receive all the processing (smoking, sausage-making, etc.) that you want. Full payment for the pig and harvest fee are due by the harvest date. Cut and wrap fees will be paid directly to the butcher. You pick up your pork from the butcher once all processing is finished.
Whole Pig Cost Breakdown
Whole pig: $7 per lb hanging weight (150-220 lbs)
Harvest fee: $100
Butcher cut and wrap fees: $1.30 per lb
Half Pig Cost Breakdown
Half pig: $7.50 per lb hanging weight (75-110 lbs)
Harvest fee: $50
Butcher cut and wrap fees: $1.30 per lb
Example Pigs
We are aiming for a hanging weight of 180 lbs.
A whole pig with a hanging weight of 180 lbs will cost $1,260 +$100 harvest fee + $234 in butcher fees.
This heritage pig would total in at $1,594 or $8.85 per lb, all expenses paid.
A half pig with hanging weight of 90 lbs will cost $675 + $50 harvest fee + $117 in butcher fees.
This half a pig would total in at $842 or $9.35 per lb, all expenses paid.
